- Tracker (Not Trucker) Hat January 9, 2011Used one size larger needles because the pattern warned that it could be snug on a big head--with #10, it fits perfectly. Left off the front brim for now. Without the front brim, the hat almost used exactly one skein of KP WotA Bulky. made to match my mittens

I think this is a beautiful thing anyway, and the stories they tell are moving and things gay teens need to hear.
But I would say it’s something that can apply to just about everyone. I wasn’t particularly bullied in high school, but I was pretty unhappy. I was amazed that once I got to college how I felt like everything that made me an outcast in high school were actually things that made me pretty cool.
So yes, it gets better. It will keep getting better. High school isn’t life. I think it’s wonderful Dan Savage and his husband have started this.
