More Halloween-y lists

Thank you, Cracked.

Happy Halloween.

You talkin' to me?

Halloween-y lists, thanks to Cracked

It was a dark and stormy night...Macabre, eerie, scary…and just plain odd. Enjoy.

Hope.

This has been a week of bullying-induced suicides and school shootings.

So I just wanted to write about my bad day. Nothing horrible happened, but I kept forgetting things and messing little things up; I felt like I failed at 10.01.10. But, at the end of the day, my clinical supervisor called with an avenue I can follow to help a client of mine. I told him, since he was on the phone, about one of the few things I managed to achieve today. He said that my action was “extremely brave” and that he was proud of me.

For every critical, ugly word that comes from someone else–or, as in my case today, from within yourself–there is someone just waiting to tell you that you’re loved, that you’re beautiful, that you’re smart, that you’re “extremely brave”. I want you to be there to hear it. Please be safe. I’m just some stranger on the ‘net, but I love you, and I care.
